PACMAN is the maze-chasing arcade classic that started it all — now free to play in your browser with no download, no install and no account. Steer Pac-Man through the maze, clear every dot, grab the flashing power pellets to turn the hunters into the hunted, and sweep up the bonus fruit before it disappears.

Controls

Desktop: arrow keys or WASD to move. Pac-Man keeps moving in the last direction you pressed, so queue your turns early.
Mobile & tablet: swipe up, down, left or right.

How to play

Eat every dot in the maze to complete the level. The four ghosts — Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde — patrol the corridors and cost you a life on contact. Eating one of the four power pellets in the corners makes them turn blue and edible for a few seconds: chain all four for 200, 400, 800 then 1,600 points. Ghosts respawn at the centre box and get faster with each level, and the power-pellet window keeps shrinking, so early levels are the time to bank points.

Tips for a higher score

Each ghost has its own personality: Blinky chases you directly, Pinky targets four tiles ahead of your nose, Inky mirrors Blinky's position and Clyde bails out when he gets close. Once you can read them, you can herd them.
Clear the dots near a power pellet before eating it, so the chase routes are open when the ghosts turn blue.
When in doubt, loop. Running a repeated circuit buys time until the next pellet is in reach.
Fruit appears twice per level near the ghost house — worth the detour once you are comfortable with the patterns.
